After our success in Montreal in June 2003, we were once again invited by
Pyro Magic Productions, to display
5 Irdieden
as part of the closing ceremony of the Cathay Pacific International
Jockeys' Competition held
in Hong Kong. For this event Toni Busuttil was accompanied by Alan
Grech from Kalkara. This was the first time the Irdieden were
going to be displayed in Hong Kong. For this show we displayed the
STARFISH, THE SHELL, THE PALM, THE STAR and THE DIAMONDS Irdieden.
These were all operated by
an electric motor and the lances used were all smokeless.
The
show was held
at the Sha Tin racetrack
on Sunday 10th December 2006, 18:00 p.m. There were approximately
51,000 people present for the show.
The
Irdieden were accompanied by choreographed mines and comets.
The Irdieden worked perfectly. The audience gave an enthusiastic
standing ovation as the show came to an end.
